Germany. A winter's tail (Premiere)

Georg Stephan reads Heinrich Heine
WED 07.11.2018 (07:30 pm)

Lively and full of wit, the writer H. Heine jumps through time and space of German history. He takes on a red-haired emperor, he gets the creeps in the Kölner Dom, howls with the wolves in the Teutoburger Forest… Experience the masterpiece of the German writer dusted off, true to the original and seriously Jewish! The actor Georg Stephan brings Heines antinationalistic national epic, which includes 2.132 highly amusing verses, back to life, with scientific consultation from PD Dr. Dirk Koppelberg (FU Berlin) and under the aegis of the long-standing artistic director of the Berliner Theater at the Palais am Festungsgraben, Barbara Abend.
